FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have many options for payment for lessons. Students can pay per lesson, per month or per quarter. The monthly option is what most students choose, as this will save their regular lesson time slot and it is more cost effective then paying per lesson. My fees are as follows: Per Lesson: 30 minute= $30, 45 minute=$45, 60 minute= $60 Per Month: 30 minute less/week = $100, 45 minute lesson per week= $150, 60 minute lesson per week= $200. In instances where there are 5 weeks in a month, we utilize the 5th lesson for make-up lessons for any previous or upcoming missed lessons.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to me with my students initially for a trial lesson to see if it is a good fit. Ideally you want to student and teacher to be compatible. The goal of the trial lesson is to gain a better understanding about what styles and types of music the student is interested in learning. It is very important to play the music you love, as you will practice so much more!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music with an emphasis in Piano Performance and Piano Pedagogy from Northern Kentucky University. I have participated in many pedagogy and piano teacher seminars and workshops post graduate. I am continually expanding my knowledge on better ways to educate music to all ages and skill levels.
