Sherri is amazing - I don't know how else to describe her. She is truly a hidden gem in Cincinnati (and she's competitively priced and she travels!). She loves what she does and every time I see her, her work improves exponentially. That in my opinion is one of the most valuable qualities to have, and I would think every bride wants to work with someone like her. :)
I adored Sherri from day one because of her upbeat energy and creativity. I loved her style but didn't want pictures similar to any of her other couples. Sherri understood my vision, not only did she give me an unique experience but also the most beautiful pictures that I will have for a lifetime.
Our first session together was in NYC when I flew her out for my engagement session. The pictures got such great reviews from everyone (even got approved for one of the most elite wedding blogs in NYC!), and people continuously asked me for Sherri's contact information. We started the day at 7:30am in Central Park, then to my apartment, to the subway station, and finally downtown by the Brooklyn Bridge. Sherri had such great/creative ideas on background/angle/lighting - she knew exactly what she wanted which ultimately delivered the best pics that I could have ever asked for.
Sherri was also my wedding photographer - she showed up early and had the whole day's plan worked out. She kept me on time without making me feel rushed, and she also kept me calm and made sure no one was stressing me out (totally not her job description but she cared to do that for me). She understood my vision for the wedding and took initiative in leading the entire wedding party from picture to picture. The picture Sherri posted of my wedding within 12 hours of the event was one that truly touched me - she captured one of the most beautiful and memorable moments in my life (my husband picked me up during our first dance and spun me around on the dance floor, all you saw on my face was happiness...not to mention the beautiful background that Sherri also captured).
I sincerely recommend Sherri to all the brides out there. Even if you are not in Cincinnati, there's always the option to fly Sherri out to wherever you are. I really appreciate her talent and I am already thinking about when I can work with Sherri again. My wedding day would not have been the same without Sherri. xxo.
