Mr. Jackson has an impressive list of clients he has worked with. Our initial phone call was very professional. I felt that he was excited to bartend for our wedding and I was surprised that he was humble enough to earn our business. I was very impressed that he previously worked the NFL Hall of Fame event. We reviewed several bartenders and by far, none compared to Mr. Jackson. He invited us to sample his signature drinks. Not only is he great at making drinks but he has a wonderful and personal demeanor. I was quite indecisive on the bar menu for my wedding. Mr. Jackson was patient and thorough. He did not rush our decision for the bar menu. Instead he provided an extensive array of options, while making samples to seal the deal. He made excellent drinks, while sharing his passion for his craft. He makes it an important point to express his concern for safety while still entertaining our guests at the bar. He knows how to make awesome drinks to please any crowd but he will not put the drinker at risk of their safety. This is most important for the host to understand. Because if your guests are intoxicated past the legal limit and they hurt themselves or someone else on their way home then the host is responsible. I felt comfortable with Mr. Jackson entertaining our guests and understanding when to cut them off from the bar. Mr. Jackson was very prepared for every aspect of a professional bartender. For my wedding I had an open bar, I allowed my guests to tip and I asked him to display his business cards. We did these things to allow the bartender the opportunity to showcase his talent with his name on the line. He definitely rose to the occasion. My guests took his cards, loved his drinks and tipped him for well mixed entertainment. His pricing was beyond fair. We supplied our own liquor and Mr. Jackson provided cups, napkins, straws, garnish and more than what we would have expected. He also brings his own backup liquor, mixers, ice etc. to sum it up, this means that no one from my wedding party had to leave and go to the store for backup because the bartender had us covered. He even picked up wine cups for us, so we didn't need to use ours. At the end of the night he helped us pack up our venue. I tried to tip him and he would not accept it, he responded by saying that he loved his job and helping us with our event. He also gave us one of his bottles as a wedding gift. My guests said they had a great time conversing with him at the bar. I have to mention also during our initial meeting with Mr. Jackson that he reviewed during scenarios that could take place at events. He ASKED us how we would want him to handle these scenarios. This is important because what works for one event may not be the event you have in mind for yours. He made sure that he reviewed what we wanted and how we wanted him to respond and interact with our guests. He assured us that he would respond as we wished and he did! We offered time for him to eat and take a restroom break. He refused. He explained that a professional should be working their event at all times. He said he will take a break when his job is done. My guests and I never saw him drink either, not alcohol nor water. This is a keynote because a lot of bartenders say they dont drink on the job, and they are. Not Mr. Jackson. At the end of the night I felt like we had a family member hosting the bar. We did not worry about him getting over on us. I dont think I can express how worried I was about an open bar going wrong at my wedding. Or how worried I was that the bartender would take advantage of us with service and pricing. When planning a wedding a lot of money is spent on things that the host may never partake in. And it seems irrelevant in retrospect. Many things will go wrong on the day of your event that you will regret. Mr. Jackson will not be one of those things. I can say, hands down I felt very grateful and appreciative that we found a vendor that was fair, honest professional and actually went above and beyond to give us the piece of mind to not worry about this aspect of my wedding day. I hired a bartender for my sons 50th birthday party in Youngstown, Ohio. His name was Victor A. Jackson and the company name is Vicks Bartending. They are based in Cleveland, Ohio. I actually found them online and after filling out a short form, Victor called me within the hour. We spoke, and right away somehow I knew he was the person for the job. I cannot tell you how pleased we were with the wonderful service Victor provided. He was so thorough. He informed us of everything that was expected and needed. He came early to set up and stayed until the party ended and his area was cleaned up. Victors personality is awesome. He was engaging, funny, professional and friendly. Our guest all enjoyed talking and interacting with him. I couldnt have been more pleased with his exceptional bartending skills. If you need a bartender do yourself a favor and call Victor. If you would like a professional, hard working bartender, Vick is your guy! And add to that the fact that he brings a lot of his own tools of the trade and is still incredibly reasonably priced. But best of all, our guests LOVED him (we did too). Even the band we hired wanted his contact info after the event. I suspect they want to collaborate with him in the future. Trust me, Victor is your guy if you are looking to enhance your event.

We held the 1st Annual Celebration f Life Dinner Dance, I hired Victor as the bartender for the evening. He was superior with our guest, they all loved his pleasant personality and hospitality. He is very professional and very engaging with guest. Prior to this event, I had never held a function where the guest were praising the bartender. He has a client for life....service is excellent...highly recommended!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. There are new types of drinks coming out every year so I try to stay on top of them and learn them as fast as I can.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Back in 1986 I went out looking for a job. Something that I could work at being good at it. So I be came a barback at club call Chit Chat in Atlanta, Ga. and trained as a in house bartender.
