Jeff was excellent! He came and hung up curtain rods, pictures, frames, and sconces. He was very courteous and professional. Jeff was very friendly to my kids and pets too. He offered decorating advice and did his best to make sure I was satisfied with the work.
Michael was on time, and when he thought he may be slighly late he texted me to let me know ahead of time, and then showed up right on time. He was very professional, and presented me with his business card as I opened the door. Michael worked efficiently and made the extra effort to complete the repair during the time he was on my property. He ran out to get a part and returned quickly to repair. He was a breath of fresh air to come across. I have not had much luck in the past with contractors/repair men, and Michael will be my "go to guy" from now on. Also, his pricing for repairs was fair and reasonable.
Matt was great. He repaired my tub drainage issue and fixed an additional problem while there. I look forward to working with him again.
We hired John to install several outlets, switches, and lighting for our kitchen renovation and basement repair. Everything looks wonderful and we are extremely pleased with the quality of his work. He was also very responsive and get us informed every step of the way. I would definitely hire John again and recommend him to anyone looking to have electrical work done.
Rod was chosen from five bidders, all of whom were close in their estimates. Unlike the others, he initially mentioned renovation options ( both interior and exterior ) that had not been considered in the planning. No one else "thought outside the box". This was a complete renovation of a house to prepare it for sale: new flooring throughout, new padding and carpeting throughout, much repair work of damaged wood and walls, a wood-burning fireplace rehab; installation of new vanities, sinks, mirrors, med. cabinets and accessories, 5 new ceiling fans, power washing, painting shutters and repair and painting of storage shed, caulking around foundation, installation of all new interior and exterior doors. You can see that the job was all-encompassing and Rod was up to the task and did some unique repairs along the way. The only two detours included four dead electrical outlets that still need to be repaired by an electrician and the time frame ran more than 3 and 1/2 months. If you are willing to be patient, Rod will do a bang-up job for you. He would text pictures of items for my approval before he would make a purchase. He provided me with a receipt for everything that was required for the job. This was an $11,000+ investment, but the new owner is not going to have any headaches once they move in. I hope to hire Rod again for work at my own residence and would comfortably make a referral to anyone in need of his services.
Ramone is a rare find. My initial request was for lighting installation, which went beautifully. I then mentioned installation of an exterior door, for which he didn't hesitate. His workmanship and professionalism is hard to find, and greatly appreciated. Ramone will be my first contact for any future projects.
Repair of exterior door that would not stay shut. Paul was on time and did a great job.
I recently had a new driveway, sidewalk and 10' x 20' pad behind my garage installed by Safe Guard Renovations. Dave Rogers, the owner of the company is a young ambitious professional. I was skeptical at first because he had only been in business for five years but there is no doubt that he had been exposed to this trade for many years prior. Dave employ's true tradesman, his main concern was to make me happy as the customer. The tear out, install and finish was done in three days. I couldn't be happier. I had some concerns and questions after the job was done and paid for, so I texted Dave and within five minutes he called me back. All is good. I would like to make mention of some of his guys as I said he has some extremely skilled tradesmen working for him. Mike, who was the senior of them all would spend time with me while I was micromanaging the project (getting in their way) and reassure me that the guys that were on the job know exactly what they're doing. Shane, is there master plumber who will repair, relocate and tie in all your drains and who also has an extensive back ground in the cement trades. Som, this man is a bull and will take charge of the cement pour and finishing, complete professional. There are many others but just can’t remember their names. Bottom line, I would recommend Safe Guard Renovations for your cement needs.
This man is a thorough maintenance technician. He told us step by step what he was doing and how he was completing our dryer repair job. He was kind, prompt, courteous and efficient. He also completed the job in a timely fashion. We would definitely be utilizing his sevices again and recommending his work to family and friends.
We had several small items around the house that we wanted to correct or improve to put our home on the market. Michael Carson answered a call I put into him. Right from the beginning he was personable and willing to work on my schedule. Several times he found better and cheaper ways to fix the items on my list. We used Michael Carson for several projects i.e. Cabinet painting, Deck resurfacing, fence and trellis repair, power washing, and interior and exterior touch-up painting.
Anthony replaced drywall and textured ceiling in my kitchen and 1/2 bathroom, put in new flooring in the bathroom and repaired my roof. All were done to my satisfaction. He was conscientious, thorough and efficient. I would definitely recommend him to others.
Eric responded promptly, was on time & did a professional job. His bill was higher than expected but he worked on plumbing repair which he charged more per hour than general handymen repair. Would use again & recomend to others.
We had a shower leak that damaged the ceiling in the kitchen. Jack was able to stop the leak in the shower due to bad grout/caulk. The ceiling needed to be patched, re textured and repainted. The damaged areas are now perfectly matched to the rest of the ceiling. Jack was very professional and organized. He took the time to protect the floors and furniture and clean up was 100%. Highly recommended!
Bill helped me repair a broken cast iron drain line at a rental property. It required cutting into the ceiling to get to the drain line and replacing a considerabile amount of pipe. The work required quick action and Bill really helped me out by getting it done in 1 day of work. He did a great job communicating with my tenants and cleaning up before he left. Price was fair, communication was great, and the job got done. 10/10 would recommend.
i have difficult time to find a worker to replace my slanted Sun Room glass ceiling(top), but Paul and his worker (matt?) have no problem of promise fixing it at the free estimate session. Matt and his father came to the site the immediate Saturday. The repair was great so was the price. However, the gutter cleaning (additional job) needed my reminder to Matt's father that the gutter was not cleaned. After my reminder, Matt at once cleaned the gutter to my satisfaction. Matt also reattached my chandelier in my front hall way for free. Wonderful price and good work.
