We had bricks inside the attic that were still in good shape, but water was running down the roofline and causing problems. Owen came by and installed a cricket to redirect the water away from the chimney area. Were in Cleveland, OH and these guys handled it well without messing with the bricks inside. The fix feels solid now, and it was worth what we paid.

Noticed a white powdery buildup on the bricks outside my chimney this morning. Chimcare came by, checked it out, and cleaned the area while explaining what caused it. They also treated the bricks to prevent it from coming back. The whole thing went smoothly and my chimney looks much better now.

so our home inspector found it during the inspection and honestly i had no idea this was even a thing. water kept pooling up by the chimney and roof area which was causing wet spots inside. called these guys and they explained what a cricket was and why we needed one without making me feel dumb about not knowing. they installed it and boom, no more water damage. wish i'd known sooner that this was something to watch for

The flashing had pulled away from the brick, causing some worries about leaks. Chimcare installed new flashing and sealed it up tight. Everything looks solid now and I feel better about the roof staying dry. Good work by Chimcare.
