About
I am an Ohio-licensed math teacher and tutor with over seventeen years of experience teaching high school math and tutoring one-on-one.
I am able to tutor all math classes from elementary school math up through and including AP Calculus BC. Additionally, I am available for ACT, SAT and SAT Math Subject tests tutoring.
In one-on-one sessions, I like to focus on a solid foundational understanding of the content, as opposed to just memorization, to encourage more long-term comprehension.
While located in the Cleveland, OH area, I am available for remote tutoring via Zoom or other online platforms.

Highly recommend Tom Tom has tutored our daughter in geometry, algebra II trigonometry and now pre-calculus. My husband and I are pleased with the job Tom has done and, as a result, how well our daughter has progressed. Tom's punctuality and professionalism are excellent and we appreciate what he has done to help our daughter stay on top of the fast-paced course work in the upper level math classes at Orange. He has our appreciation and our recommendation.

Mr. Marlowe was a tremendous help in scoring high on the AP Calc exam. He was always very thorough in his explanations of both new and old topics, and was very eager and excited to see me succeed in my AP Calc course. I highly recommend Mr. Marlowe to anyone who needs math help.
