I am very impressed with First-Choice Appliance Services. My repair person not only came on time to service my oven, but returned on time the same day to replace the part he had picked up that day at the warehouse. He was polite and very careful about wearing a mask and social distancing. Within ten minutes, he had the oven repaired. I would definitely use First-Choice services again.

I found Shortfix, LLC on Thumbtack. Having never used Thumbtack before, I sent an email to a few appliance repair companies trying to get a 'hard quote', giving the model of our Kitchen Aid double oven and the fact that the upper burner did not work. Of the companies I contacted, Stan seemed to be the most responsive and he was willing to give me his ‘hard quote’. I gave Stan a complete description of the problem and what we did to troubleshoot to verify the dead burner. He did say he wanted to come out to look at the oven to confirm that the burner was dead and to make sure of the part number he needed to order. He came out the next day and confirmed with his multi-meter that the burner was in fact dead. He said he would order the part and be back in 2 days to install the burner. And in 2 days he came at the scheduled time. Stan was professional, efficient, timely, and what he quoted was exactly what I was charged. Based on my experience with Stan if/when I need any appliance repaired he will be the first person I call. I rate him a 10 out of 10. Great Service. If you need an appliance fixed, just call Stan. You'll be happy you did.
