Introduction: The work has never been about money and getting rich. I don't need to be rich just comfortable so my pricing is very (if not beyond) reasonable. I don't rush jobs so I can increase my hourly rate or get on to the next one faster. My work is an extension of me. I would never do poor or sloppy work for myself so I don't work like that for others. I give you the same quality work I would do for my daughters and that is simply the best I can give to you each and every time. It's true I'm a little fussy about the finished product, but I think everyone should be. Peace of mind is more than a tag line to me, it is a way of living. As a result I do everything I can to bring that feeling to my customers. I don't think there is anything more gratifying in this life than to see someones face light up when they see the finished product. It does not matter if it is a Home Inspection or a freshly painted room. All that customer is looking for is top value for their dollar. It is always my intention to give them the best service for their dollar. That is what makes me feel like I did the next right thing in this life. That is what makes me tick and want to do it in everything I do.

John was amazing!!! This was the first time I have ever hired anyone from thumbtack and he exceeded my expectations! He had answers to all my questions and concerns! He was very efficient and professional! He asked us everything before he made a move! And last but not least he mounted my tv so beautifully!!!! I am in love with it! John was very worth the price! I will hire him for all of my other projects!!!

John is awesome!! Detailed detailed and more detailed!! He fixed what someone called themselves mounting a tv and sound bar and hid all wires from the lazy directv guy!! He is very pleasant and his prices are easy on the wallet!!

I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience with John Mullinax. I needed my Plasma TV mounted securely above my fireplace with the cables concealed in the wall. Out of the 5 quotes I received, Johns was the most reasonably priced. When John showed up at my house for the installation, he was very friendly, professional and just a very knowledgeable guy. I had purchased both a TV wall mount and an A/V wall shelf for my cable box, etc. The TV mount came disassembled, but he assembled everything and had my TV mounted on the wall in no time with the wires concealed in the wall and going down the side of the fireplace in a neat bundle. He told me the A/V shelf I bought wouldnt really work for my setup and suggested I buy a better onehe even offered to come out a few days later to install the shelf after I bought it. When he came back to install my shelf, he ran into some difficulty with the sheer amount of equipment/cables I had (no fault of his own), but he still managed to make sure everything was secure and looked neat and tidy. Overall, he treated this installation as if it were for his own house and made sure that everything was to my satisfaction before he left. John has a great work ethic and genuinely cares about customer satisfaction. I will definitely be using him in the future for any installations or repair work. Thanks, John!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's not complicated it starts at $325 and goes up incrementally based on Sq. Ft of the home. I am flexible with pricing and usually offer some type of discount. I am willing to try and beat anyone's quote
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am signed up to take classes in Mold remediation
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I switched predominately to Home Inspection in 2014 due to a back injury that is a chronic pain for me now. I figured I would take my knowledge of homes and their operating systems and use that knowledge to take some of the guess work out of the home buying process. Doing some of the remodel work takes a toll on me pain wise so I can still do what I love. Which is actually providing superior customer service and building relationships with people. I like to leave you feeling like you were a honored guest in my home. If I fall short of that goal then I just try harder the next time.
