FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I belong to Kelbyone, a site for continuing education for photographers and other creative professions, such as graphic design and Photoshop users. I have also taken specialization courses on outdoor photography and food photography (quirky, I know, but you get to eat some great food afterwards!)
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've loved photography for years and when a close friend of mine decided to take a chance at launching a side business for herself, I thought, "why not me?" I believe I have the skills and artistic insight on par with most professional photographers today. I have always wanted to start up my own venture as well, so this is a perfect avenue.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be as communicative as possible about your expectations and what you want. The more information I have, the better I'll be able to deliver the product you would like to get for your money. My professional experience is rather limited compared to other photographers who have been shooting for money for a longer time. But that in no way reflects my photography experience and the quality that I can deliver. I would advice that you base your judgement on the photos you see on my profile and my website and the price that I'm quoting you. I believe that the quality you'll see in these photographs combined with the price will convince you to hire me.
