FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My diagnostic/service call fee is $90. If you approve the repair, the $90 diagnostic fee is waived, so you only pay for the repair and any necessary parts. The final price depends on the issue, required parts, and the complexity of the repair. Since every repair and part is different, I provide the exact repair price after diagnosing the appliance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My approach is based on honesty, transparency, and clear communication. I always explain exactly what the problem is, what caused it, and what needs to be done to fix it. If a part needs to be replaced, I show the customer the failed or damaged part and explain why it needs to be replaced. I believe customers should understand what they are paying for and feel confident that the repair is truly necessary. My goal is to provide an honest diagnosis, recommend only the work that is needed, and make sure every customer feels comfortable and confident with the service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
One of my most recent professional development experiences was spending a full month working alongside an appliance repair technician with over five years of experience. We completed many repairs together, and I gained new practical knowledge while improving my existing skills. I believe the best teacher is hands-on experience, and this experience helped me become a more confident and effective technician.
