FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the service, I am happy to discuss scope, capabilities and timing on our first discussion. If chosen, I will create a simple statement of work that will describe that scope and the deliverables along with timing and the price of the service. Once accepted by the client, we will scheduling a kickoff, direct discussion or whatever is needed based on the statement of work. I generally will work for a flat fee unless an hourly fee is most appropriate. We will conclude the work when the deliverables are complete based on the statement of work. Deliverables in the statement of work will be described in sufficient detail for the consultant to judge and agree the requirements have been met.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I originally went to college to be a music songwriter and publisher in Nashville, TN. I Attended Belmont University, the best school in the country for music business. Later, I changed my major to Business and Computer Science after winning an Army ROTC Scholarship. I was an active duty Medical Services officer in the military where I began to learn to lead people, deal with battlefield medical operations and medical logistics. I really liked it and found that I enjoyed the supply chain and operational aspects. In my last year in the Army I became the youngest Chief Information Officer when I was given a CIO position in the based Hospital. This acquainted me with technology and after the military, I choose to pursue both business and technology as my career focus.
