Fear of public speaking? You are not alone!! Many upwardly mobile professionals must use effective Communication skills when leading teams, presenting, networking and public speaking. However, Fear and poor vocal habits may be sabotaging your confidence, leadership and authority. These are skills that can be learned! I am passionate about helping professionals improve their vocal delivery and public speaking. I also specialize in helping English as a Second Language speakers acquire new skills to improve their delivery and speak with clarity. I have deep knowledge of the phonology and rhythm of American English to assist with softening an accent. All coaching is individualized with instruction, practice and feedback. I work mostly through online platforms to provide individualized coaching or group workshops, however I may travel to your place of business if in Columbus, Ohio. I also have monthly online small public speaking groups.

I had an amazing learning journey with Jenny. Her listening skills, attention to detail, and constructive feedback were very beneficial in helping me improve my English pronunciation and speaking skills. The personalized and comprehensive program was organized in such a way that each lesson reinforces the learning points from previous lessons. I enjoyed the practice exercises that were built into each lesson. Jenny's words of encouragement motivated me to work even harder at mastering the nuances of the English language. I had done accent reduction training with two licensed speech pathologists before working with Jenny Fusco (my third training). Jenny is by far the best pathologist I have ever worked with!
As a CCC-SLP, I have no doubt about Jenny's professional expertise in Speech-Language Pathology. What is more important, however, is that Jenny did an excellent job in providing me personalized coaching in a systematic and well-organized manner, supported with well-prepared materials.
After a personalized online assessment, she developed a course outline that meets my need. She started with the most important areas like intonation, syllables, stress and ear training - topics that I can make an immediate impact. She prepared very well-organized teaching materials to teach me systematically in these topics, including homework. She also responded promptly with useful advices whenever I sent her my homework (e.g. audio files). I recorded all our teaching sessions. The recorded sessions, the teaching materials and the assignments themselves are super valuable for me to continue practicing and improving my spoken English.
If you are frustrated with disorganized pathologists who (seemingly) randomly pick a topic to teach every time they meet you (without well-prepared teaching materials), you should work with Jenny! I highly recommend Jenny to people who want to improve their spoken English!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most clients begin with a free consultation. I also offer an in-depth Analysis which includes a report and outline of services. In addition, Individual sessions, or Packages of 12, 18 sessions for a reduced rate.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin with a free consultation to discuss needs and goals. Coaching begins with an analysis, post-analysis consultation and plan. Online coaching sessions are scheduled individually or in advance via Zoom platform
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have both formal training and experience. For example, I have studied speech and hearing sciences, speech -language pathology and have knowledge of the principles of adult learning, motor-planning, linguistics, phonetics, pragmatics/social language skills and speech production. I currently have a real estate license, and have taken many sales and negotiation classes which I also use within the field of professional communication. I have invested time in learning about effective public speaking skills- reading books, speaking to groups to hone my own skills, and researching the topic extensively. I also speak on the topic of communication, speech and voice.
