Megan Matrka is AB FAB!! I needed someone to repair damaged drywall in my laundry room ceiling and window area. I’d contacted another handyman along with others, but Megan was the only one to respond with a set price (not an estimate!). Once Megan began the project, she discovered the source of the leak was coming from the bathroom directly above the laundry room and had to install a wax ring under the toilet, as the old one had completely disintegrated. When she was sure there was no more leak, she then proceeded to replace/repair the drywall on the ceiling. She also drywalled around the window directly under the leak and installed trim around the entire area. The cost did increase because of the toilet but, for the work that she did and the 10 +/- hours it took to complete this over 2 days, the final cost was very fair and very reasonable. I would absolutely hire Megan again. She is very nice and did a great job.

It was so refreshing to have someone like Megan who is responsive, consultative, and did exactly what we discussed. It was so easy I wish I found her sooner. There was no BS or excuses you get from other people, but just straight results. She put up a ceiling fan for me and crawled through my attic to put up the proper support. I chose her based on her other Thumbtack reviews and will follow suit by highly recommending her services. She was an absolute pleasure to work with.
