Incredible work, communication, and professionalism. I highly recommend Kyle and his team. Our townhouse in German Village has 1900 hardwood (oak and pine) floors which were in bad condition from a previous refinisher’s botched job. We were on a tight timeline and needed the floors refinished quickly so we were thankful that Kyle was so responsive to our in-app messages. We met, and it was clear that Kyle and Jeremy knew their stuff. Kyle explained their process and gave us confidence in their ability to do great work. His price was competitive. Once the work began, we received regular daily updates. The floors turned out beautiful and they finished slightly ahead of schedule. I HIGHLY recommend Jenkins Custom Hardwood!

I wish I could give Jenkin’s Custom Hardwood and Kyle more than a 5 star review. He went over and above to get our 100 year old floors refinished in a very tight deadline. He made excellent suggestions and did truly beautiful work. He was friendly, professional, and responsive. He even worked weekends for us and on one very memorable Sunday, found a way through the Columbus Marathon to get to our house in order to complete his work on time. If you’re looking for a really great guy to refinish or install new wood floors, please do yourself a favor and reach out to Kyle.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Here at Jenkins Custom Hardwood Floors we like to come out to the home and run estimates in person. I can say a standard sand and finish starts at $4.00 a square foot.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with new customers here at Jenkins Custom Hardwood Floors, we first and foremost want to get to know our customer, find out exactly what the customer is looking for. We offer to sample stains, and of course display our pervious work with our new customers so they can get a look on our finished product.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
30 years of experience finishing, and staining custom colors and floors. Also introducing The Second Generation of Craftsman here at Jenkins Custom Hardwood Floors.
