As a young child, my father and I would scour the countryside looking for native plants, which we would take a sample home to plant in our garden. Over the years, the plants multiplied and in 2001, we opened a plant nursery together, specializing in trees, shrubs, and vines. We sold the plants we had collected, made our own clones, and ordered in many starter plants and bare root trees. The nursery is still open to this day. In my 20s, I moved to Columbus, OH to attend college and I have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. After that, I worked in nonprofits. In 2014-2015, I ran a community garden near OSU campus were I worked teaching gardening to inter city youth, which was an amazing eperience. Around that time, my father passed away and I was inspired to resign from my job and started my own company specializing in horticulture and groundskeeping. All of my experience is self taught. I have no formal education in horticulture, and I'm extremely proud of this.
