- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs I do for clients are 5 minute looks and natural going out makeup. I have brides and homecoming clients that have referred me to more natural looking events. I have done a couple dramatic makeup events but most of my jobs are geared for more natural looking makeup.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The advice I have for a customer looking to hire a provider like me is to tell the makeup artist exactly what you want done on you and not let the makeup artist take control of your vision for yourself. If you are not into a lot of makeup let the artist know that you like real natural. If you are into more dramatic makeup let the artist know that is what you are looking for. By doing this it gives the artist a chance to say whether they are able to create the look or not, while taking all the guess work. I would also say ask to see their previous work and most of the time you can see a pattern of their work and it will give a good idea of how they usually perform their makeup.
