Introduction: I come from a background of working with still life and therefore I have a different approach when it comes to taking photos of people. I tend to incorporate the landscape or surroundings a little more and I pay attention to the detail of the image as a whole. I have strong fundamentals and I don't resort to gimmicks or editing tricks to get a great shot.

Marshall was fantastic taking pictures at my daughter's wedding. We discussed the different group family pictures that we wanted taken ahead of time. Marshall was very attentive at capturing the important moments, and getting candid shots. He also surprised us with a few black and white Polaroid pictures, which were very cool. Marshall and his assistant were a delight to work with! The photographs that Marshall took of my daughter's wedding ceremony and reception were wonderful and very artistic. He did a fantastic job capturing the newlyweds with family, friends, and the two of them in different settings. There was a series of pictures of the couple in a grassy meadow that were beautiful! I loved how he captured even small details, in the bride's dress and bouquet. I was very happy with the pictures, his professionalism, and how he was able to capture the ceremony and reception without people even realizing they were being photographed. Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I shot some senior photos recently and I am very happy with how they turned out. Sometimes working with people can be challenging, but I was able to really relate with the client and provide a fun and relaxing atmosphere that helped the put the client at ease.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A lot of people like to take photos of people, but aren't willing to put in the time to really learn the craft. I'd like to think that I have a firm grasp on the fundamentals of photography which allows me to be more creative in the field and also produce great photos.
