Introduction: I am an affordable housing advocate and management professional. My career began in college where I interned as secretary of finance for a public housing authority. Since then, I have been dedicated to providing quality, safe, and affordable housing to the community. I have experience in housing compliance and oversight at the federal, state and local levels. I maintain a reputation for accuracy, efficiency and maximizing budget through effective allocation of resources. My knowledge of regulations include HUD (section 8, 236, 811, 202 and bond programs), USDA (rural development), VA (medical foster program, homeless prevention and CRC) and OHFA (tax credit). I also am certified in real estate sales with knowledge of local tenant landlord law, community mediation and eviction processes. I have monitored compliance for a portfolio of up to 68 communities.
