Plumbing Drain Repair
The pipes under my kitchen sink were leaking as well as the drain in the right side. The toilet was leaking and I had a clogged drain in the basement. The kitchen and bath jobs are complete 100% satisfaction. The basement drain however will need a specialist. Of course Mike had no way of knowing how bad it was until 5 hours later when he hadn't made any progress with it, but he sure tried his damnedest! Mike was very professional and efficient. He even gave me some tips and taught me some basics. I will use Decorators Choice in the future if the need arises.Nov 16, 2012Verified
Tile Installation and Replacement
Dave was very professional. He installed carpet and tile in our condo. We had a very small window of time between closing and move in, and Dave was able to complete all the work with time to spare.Jun 20, 2012Verified
Dave did an excellent job installing marble and porcelain flooring in our home. He gave us a very reasonable estimate and the final cost did not vary from that estimate. The work was quite good and was performed in a timely manner. Dave was very polite, friendly and professional. His years of experience, pride and work ethics were clearly demonstrated while working for us. We will definately consider hiring him for any future projects.Apr 14, 2012VerifiedDecorator's Choice Flooring and Remodeling LLC's reply
Thank's for the outstanding review and your confidence in my abilities. Every job I undertake is different from the last and that helps to keep my creative side satiated. I am fortunate to enjoy what I do for a living and I hope that it shows in my work. I look forward to hearing from you, your friend's, and your relatives in the future and only hope that I can provide them outstanding service as well!
My wife and I highly recommend Decorator's Choice to anyone looking for honest and pride full craftsmanship! David answered all of our questions prior to the job and did quality work on installing a kitchen back splash. We have even contacted him on the prospects of additional projects in the house. A very positive experience!Feb 17, 2011Verified
Floor Installation or Replacement
BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!!! First red flags, he had no working capital, complained he had no gas to get back and forth and kept milking me for money before the work was done. Because I was out of town and not there to oversee the work he was doing, I had to trust him. Suppose to have sanded wood floors stain and polyurethane on them. I paid for a sander in which he never used and he threw a few spots of stain down and slapped a coat of polyurethane down. THEY LOOKED AWFUL. It wasn't until the realtor got the key to list the house is when I saw the real pictures of the mess he made. On top of that he took the supplies back that he never used and got the money back. He also lied and said he needed 140 dollars to carry the last load of garbage to the dump. Guess what folks, the garbage was sitting in front of the house. He tried to get me to give him another 140 dollars. His excuse to me was he had underbid my project!!! So because I wasn't there to oversee (FIRST MISTAKE) I feel I was taken advantage of. He was not professional at all. I was subject to his complaints about not having gas money, they turned his phone off and his wife would not trust him to loan him money or a phone!!! Really????? If your wife doesn't trust you then why should we???? What a night mare. Oh and it was suppose to be done within a week and it was almost 3???? NOT HAPPY WTH THIS GUY OR HIS COMPANY!!!Jun 11, 2014Verified
