Replaced the sashes with vinyl double hung double pane inserts. Leaving the original jamb and trim. Out side trim was covered and sealed with aluminum cladding. We have had some really good winds, no wind penatration or whistle.Started out to replace 9 windows upstairs and 2 downstairs. So happy with how they turned out, decided to replace the rest.
