Drea was a godsend for us. We contacted her one week before the wedding. She responded promptly and quickly learned our vision. The wedding day she arrived early and jumped right in to help us decorate. She worked quickly and efficiently and offered some helpful suggestions. She has a great eye for decor and was so sweet. She made sure to follow OUR vision and made it happen. She was thorough in covering all the details. She decorated, lined up our procession order, pinned on boutonnières, took good care of the bride & groom and parents by delivering plates of food, cake and clearing them away. She gathered people for photos, kept coffee dispenser full, put out hors d’oeuvres and coordinated with the dj and photographer to make sure the day ran smoothly so we could focus on family and friends. She made a quick changeover from ceremony to reception by moving tables and chairs. Drea was a true professional and went out if her way to be kind to everyone. She is an incredibly hard worker and made sure the day went along as we had planned. We were blessed she was available on short notice. She made our day perfect. I didn't know what to expect from an Officiant but Drea was great. She was flexible when we had to change our date and our original wedding plans. Our favorite part of our intimate ceremony was that she personalized our ceremony and had included things we told her in our couple informational. A little over 2 months before our wedding i told her i was having concerns about her and her follow through. There was a lack of communication and she seemed disorganized, sending us information to incorrect emails. We had to postpone our wedding due to COVID-19, not her fault. When we were ready to reschedule we reached out to her with a date and asked her if it worked for us. She said yes. She ultimately got the date wrong which i don’t understand how its possible since we communicated through email. 24 hr before our wedding she admitted she made a mistake. She had a prior family matter for the date of our wedding. Not once did i ask her to skip the family matter to be with us because I understand. I did tell her i wanted a refund. She then disclosed she has a no refund policy in which she never previously disclosed nor had on her web page. She then also disclosed that she has a $40 rescheduling fee policy. Another policy that she did not inform us about and also isnt on her web page. She said that we rescheduled twice on her which is false. I made her look though all correspondence while on the phone with me to prove that we only rescheduled the one time. She was unable to find anything. I told her to charge me the rescheduling fee and give me the rest of the money paid to her back to me. She kept repeating that shes a woman of integrity and that she would admit if she was wrong. She admitted she got the date wrong but never admitted that we only rescheduled once. After 15 mins of arguing she ultimately gave me 1/2 of my money back. Which is frankly a slap in the face since she double booked. She is unprofessional, lacks integrity, and a fraud. In my opinion she should not be trusted with such an important day in anyones life. I am beyond pissed but luckily i was able to find another officiant on such short notice. I would give her 0 stars if i were able to.Jun 21, 2020VerifiedDrea Williams's reply

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to meet with the couple. Understand how they met, the foundation of their love, and then discuss their expectations of my services.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have been in customer service for over 19 years. I am a manager for a large company for over 16 years. I also mentor young girls in my spare time. My entire life is built around people. Listening, learning, mentoring and managing people to help them get to their best place.
