I train through the Yoga on High Institute and with the Wellness Forum Institute for Health Studies
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started yoga to help get to know myself better, increase flexibility, balance and strength, and to take on a 'workout' that I could do whether in a low or high state of energy. I started H.E.A.L, Health Education and Logistics because I was sick and tired of mis-information from trusted doctors, media, and even your average nutritionist. When I learned how to adopt a diet based on properly-conducted research, it changed my life in a lot of amazing ways. I want to live well until the day that I die. I want to fulfill the potential of my whole life. I see and feel the burden of too many people spending the last decade of their lives degenerating. We can't confused common for normal. Diet and lifestyle habits are shown to protect us from degenerative diseases (many cancers, diabetes, heart disease, osteoporosis, alzheimers + more). By eating a plant-based diet, I am in love with food again.
