We went with Mykkah Photography for our wedding this past year, and honestly we could not be more thrilled with the way our photos turned out!! On our wedding day, Micah made us feel comfortable from the get go... which was so important when posing for photos. He was extremely professional throughout the entire process, and never lacked in creativity. We have received so much positive feedback from the photos we shared from our wedding, and believe it is all due to the personal touch Micah put into our pictures. I got the privilege of being a roommate with Micah in college and always appreciated his vast creative abilities and attention to detail. Micah has a knack of finding beauty and looking at something through a lens we'd all like to have. Hannah and I were thrilled that he could come be a part of our October '12 outdoor wedding. In a picture saturated culture, there's lots of pressure on picking a photographer, here's why my wife and I believe Micah and his team are a great pick: 1. He captures the wedding moments you want. People still love looking through our pictures and we do too! 2. He's clear with directions to help get you, your wedding party, and family where they need to be in a professional manner to help you get back to experiencing your wedding. Having been in many wedding parties this makes a huge part of the flow of your day and you can see when photographers do it well or not. 3. He gets the personal stuff really well--from first look to post ceremony. He is about you enjoying your moments, not posing for pictures. 4. He and his team take time to find the small, personal details in your wedding and bring those out through the pictures. That's where being highly detailed oriented helps separate him. 5. He loves and honors his family which helps him be excellent at his craft. Lastly, the pictures speak for themselves. YES! I'm always learning and never want to stop! My goal is to be one of the best photographers in the world so I'm always attending workshops and seminars around the country.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been in love with photography longer than I can remember so when I graduated college I made it my profession.
