FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most of the time I need to speak with the person so I can make sure I have their measurements or make arrangements to come measure. Then I can give you a correct quote for the project that needs done.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Asking questions, getting the most information about the job or project you want done and that tells me how to proceed. Do I need to come measure, Do you have an idea what you would like to put down (carpet, vinyl, wood planks), Have you purchased your carpet already or do you need to purchase, Is it there already or do I need to go pick it up? Just info to get your job or project done the way you want it done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was taught the old school way to install carpet, by using the power stretcher as well as the kicker to get that perfect stretch. Most installers today just use their kicker, I would ask them before I hired them.
