- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I generally like to look at a job in person before I give an estimate. Giving an estimate without seeing the job can lead to problems later as the job may turn out to look different in the eyes of vendor than in the eyes of a potential client.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've been doing this work for banks & mortgage companies since 1999 and with the foreclosure crisis slowing down I've decided to expand my business to the general public.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Provide your address & phone number because most jobs need to be looked at in person to give an accurate estimate.
