- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly learning via books and the internet on how I can improve my photography and photo editing skills. This is absolutely necessary with the continuous upgrades to both cameras and computer software.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have had a passion for photography since I was a child. I decided to pursue an advertising career and worked in ad agencies for many years which surrounded me with photography on a daily basis. I was an avid amateur photographer for my family and friends all my adult life. I always dreamed of being a professional photographer. Within the last 3 years many doors opened up for me to allow me to pursue this dream. Portraits by Pam was launched and I am loving every minute of it.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My best advice would be to check out photographers portfolios. Each have their own unique style. Select the style that best suits you. Once you have selected a few, meet with them for a consult. Determine which photographer has the personality that makes you feel comfortable and will be easy to work with.
