- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I knew when I was a little girl, just what I wanted to do when I got older. I would have all of my family members and dolls getting their hair done. I just wanted to make everyone look beautiful. Before going to beauty school, when I finally made the decision to go, I let many of my friends and family know. After that, I got the opportunity to do a lot of their hairs. I am so greatful for all of those wonderful people for letting me experiment on them.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
One of the most common job that I do is all over color with all over highlights that look natural. My clients don't like to look Iike they color their hair. Color is a big deal in my salon. Why pay for your hair to get done, if you can do the same thing with a box. I believe my colors are unique for each client. Foiling is key to a great color. The standard foil pattern doesn't work for every person. How you wear your hair makes a big difference. Do you want to see the pieces or blend in. Blending in requires a totally different angle then one where you want to see the pieces.
