Honestly, there are not enough words to describe how grateful I am to Josh. Choosing him as my personal injury lawyer was the best decision I have ever made. At first, I thought I could deal with the claim myself. After all, it was the other driver's fault, so all of my medical bills should be paid, right? Well the insurance company was not so "eager" to help, and I was facing multiple surgeries and over a year of rehab. Over the first week following the devastating car crash, I was debating weather I even need a lawyer. Then I was struggling which firm to choose. When I contacted Kruger & Hodges, I got an email back less then 2 hours later. Josh was so nice and answered all my questions. He offered to come to my house to explain everything and see if we are a good fit, which I found extremely helpful since I was stuck at home without a car and in a cast, unable to drive and in too much pain to take a cab. He stayed with me over an hour, answering every question and going over the entire process. I went with my gut and hired him, and less then a year later- I got my FULL settlement paid! Throughout the entire process, I was amazed by how attentive and thoughtful Josh was. He texted me almost every week, just to see how I was feeling. He called after every surgery to check up on me. He kept me posted so often about the process of the claim and the progress of our settlement, that I never had to worry about it, which was immensely important in the months of painful recovery. There was so much to worry about- I was unable to work for 16 weeks, on disability, in pain, with multiple therapies and Josh took away the big financial worry. His team kept on top of the records, keeping all of my bills and my medical info updated, making sure we leave nothing behind. He showed so much attention to detail and so much true empathy, that I begun considering him as a friend, not just my lawyer. His dedication to my case was second to none and I could not have made a better choice if I tried. He is truly wonderful and so good at his job. We typically give our clients a flat rate quote that we can split into multiple payments if needed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet with a potential customer and see what their exact situation is and what will be required to help them. Then we give them a price and hopefully go forward with representing them on their case.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both of our lawyers have Juris Doctor Degrees. One of them was trained at one of the most prestigious law firms in Ohio. The other has been in the local courthouse virtually everyday for over a decade.
