Opal and Agate Photography has two main goals. We strive to provide outstanding experiences for each of our clients. We also want to give back to our community and be the best stewards of our shared planet that we possibly can.
No matter if you're booking a portrait mini-session or a weekend proposal, Opal and Agate Photography values your business. We strive to provide each of our clients with the best customer service and professionalism in the industry. We don't rest until each client is happy with their photography experience. We offer custom sessions so we can cater a shoot to your needs. Have big ideas and a vision for creative content? No problem! We'd love to collaborate with you. We also strive to make the world a better place for ours and future generations. Opal & Agate Photography gives back to the community, supports local non-profits, and works on cutting our carbon footprint and waste everyday. We strive to be the first green-certified photography studio in NE Ohio. We are members of One Tree Planted, 1% for the Planet, and Alliance for the Great Lakes, with whom we sponsor beach cleanups twices a year at Edgewater Beach in Cleveland.

Update: They did a complete refund, we didnt get everything we wanted and planned for but they did their best to make it right.
My husband had been talking to him for weeks about a photo session in Ohio. It was my children's birthday, and he canceled on us at 5:00 AM—just when we were ready—leaving us with no time to find anyone else. We were on vacation in Ohio, and he ruined everything we had planned for our kids.

Sean and Emily were fantastic! They were super helpful in planning the engagement and helped scouting out the location beforehand. They very responsive throughout the whole process. They made my fiancee and I extremely comfortable throughout engagementphoto shoot. They also got us some early pictures back in a few days to send to family and friends. Highly recommend.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is pretty easy. Most of our clients will pay $150-$200 as a sitting fee for portrait or headshot services. We sell images A La Carte from there.
Image Price Breakdown:
1-8 images = $21.50/each
9-16 images = $18.50/each
17-24 images = $15.50/each
We find that pricing this way eliminates packages where clients are stressed about the amount of images they are getting and how to use all of them. With this system, you only pay for what you want and nothing else. Of course, we’re also happy to create a custom package to fit your needs, budget, or style so Please contact Sean or Emily at Opal & Agate Photography directly for details.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We always clarify the detail of the job first. This helps to ensure you get everything you want from your photo shoot. It also helps us get to know you as a person, so we can personalize the preparation for your shoot.
At your shoot, we don’t start shooting right away. We make sure you're comfortable and relaxed, so we capture the real you. People like genuine.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our main photographer has a BFA in Photography and almost 20 years experience as a natural landscape and portrait photographer.
