FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Sessions are approximately 60 minutes, and start at $60/session with a minimum of a four week commitment.*** In special cases, I may be able to accommodate a 30 or 45 minute session with a lower rate. Online coaching is also available, and starts at $159/month. ***Please note, my service area is currently limited to Downtown, most West Side neighborhoods/suburbs, and limited East Side neighborhoods -- usually within a 15-20 minute drive from the Tremont neighborhood. If I contact you, you are assumed to be within my service area!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We'll be working together very closely, so I always start with an in-depth consultation to ensure we're a good fit for one another. Once we decide to move forward, your first session will consist mainly of a body composition and fitness assessment to determine where you're starting. From there I move on to develop your program, and you'll gain access to a private Facebook group to network with other clients and share resources.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am certified through the National Personal Training Institute of Ohio (NPTI) -- a 600-hour program with both classroom lecture and hands-on training that incorporates content from the leading educational entities in the industry including the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). I am also a Certified Level 1 Yoga Instructor through Yoga Hari Om and the Yoga Alliance. People ask me what I do when I'm not working out or in the gym -- I'm honestly probably reading, watching a documentary, or attending a seminar on wellness. Every facet of what I do interests me -- fitness, nutrition, exercise science, yoga, and optimal holistic wellness. I am a devoted life-long learner in my field.
