Be professional. When you hire a "project manager", I would think that is a desired/expected quality. It is acceptable to pass on a job, but provide a reason. Horrible follow up and blahzay attitude. Be careful all.
Apr 10, 2018VerifiedGroves Property Services's replyCustomer was upset after we refused to work for him. We explained the property was unsafe. We explained in detail what was unsafe and the reason we declined the project. We contacted the customer thru the Thumbtack channel of communication the same day we visited the property to notify the customer we would not be performing and work. We also discussed by phone a few days later. We went over in detail why we were refusing the work. I have no interest in working for clients that do not care about worker safety.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Standard service (Handyman) call $90.00. Standard labor (Handyman) rate $45.00 per man hour. Material is not included in these fees. We also offer pricing by the job. For example a Standard Hot Water Tank Changed out runs $250.00. Parts and material not included. Minimum charge per visit $ 90.00 applies.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?We provide a quote. We normally like to come out to the house and meet with the homeowner to review the project before any work is completed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?HVAC/R certified (Heating and Cooling). ICA certified home inspector. Over twenty five years experience in the construction industry
