I have twenty- five years experience creating images for advertising with clients such as General Motors, Frontgate, and Paul Mitchel. Creating annual reports, billboards, and artistic projects. My new focus is on Senoir Pics, Famiy, and Infants, and Weddings.The clients that I have shot for have come to expect a very professional, friendly shoot, that will capture the beauty of the subject, tell the story, and make a fun experience that will be one to remember. Photography for me is more like a passion and not work. My friends, family and amazing customers know that there isn't a minute of the day that I'm not without a camera. It brings joy to me creating an environment at my shoots that leaves an everlasting effect on my clients.

I was very loose in my requirements and Scott did a good job capturing a lot of “moments.” The photos are quite good, especially considering there were 4 different rooms and for different types of lighting. We are quite pleased.

My overall experience with Clifford Michael Photography was a great time. Scott the photographer was very professional, and worked well with my children. He was very fast and upbeat and knew exactly what he was doing. My children and I had a great time and would definitely use this photographer again in the future!!!

Scott Davis is the photographer's actual name. In a nutshell, he took some "complimentary" photos of us at our consultation to meet him. Took our deposit to hold our date. The photos from the consult were terrible, so we asked for our deposit back when we decided we didn't want to use him for our wedding. He stopped responding to any communication and has not refunded us our deposit. We found Scott on Thumbtack. He sent us a gallery of photos of what he said was his previous work, and the photos were very good. (Now I am quite certain he did not take those photos). He said he needed a $200 deposit to hold our date if he was to photograph our wedding. He also offered a complimentary consultation to meet him, discuss our event and to take a few photos to get comfortable before our event. We had our consultation on June 24th in Lebanon, OH. We discussed our event, style of photos, and he took some photos of us. He asked for my info so he could fill out a contract and send to us to sign and asked for the $200 deposit. We gave him our info and the deposit to hold our date. A few days later, he sent us a gallery of the photos and still no contract, but he had cashed the check immediately. 90% of the photos he took of us were poor quality, blurry, poorly edited, etc. I asked if he would re-edit some of our favorites more to our style and he literally said he could only do so much with the poor quality some of the pictures were (completely admitting his photos were not good). After going back and forth for a few days, with still no contract, and realizing his photos were not even comparable to the samples, we let him know that we no longer wished to use his services for our event. He clearly stated that the deposit was just to hold the date, which we no longer needed him to do; so we requested our deposit back. He said he would take out a percent for his services rendered (which he had said previously were "complimentary"). Then he said he would return the deposit via mail, we have yet to receive anything and he has stopped responding to any of our emails, calls, texts. Basically he took our money and ran - so Thumbtack, you should probably remove him from your service. I've attached a photo of the sample he sent me and then two photos of us from our "Complimentary" consultation. It's pretty obvious that there are major differences... I also have records of all the emails, verbal agreement info, etc. of the encounter if Thumbtack can do anything to help us get our money back.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is fair and packages are available. They can be tailored to suit the customers individual needs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free initial consultation either in person or over the phone. This is were we discuss all the details and plan out the upcoming photo shoot. Next is the photo shoot which is a lot of fun. After the shoot the customer will receive an email within 2 -3 days that will link them to there private gallery with a personnel access code. This is were they choose their images and make notes for specific retouching they would like. The customer's prints arrive at their door in Boutique packaging and canvases ready to display on their walls.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Photography from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. It was a wonderful experience that opened the door to my twenty five years as a professional photographer.
