FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is different and will be priced according to the materials used and the skills needed to complete the project properly.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, the customer calls me to discuss the project they wish to have completed. The phone call is a chance for both the customer and the contractor to ask or answer any questions they may have for each other. Secondly, I like to set up an appointment to come out to meet with the customer, look at the project, get a better feel for what the customer wants done and take any measurements needed for a quote. Then, in a few days, I work up a quote and either email it to them or call them with the estimate. After the customer accepts the estimate, we look at a calendar and schedule their work for as soon as we can fit them in and is convenient for the customer. Most of the time, no money changes hands until the job is complete and is done to the satisfaction of the customer. The only exception to this rule would be due to large project material costs and or a project which may run longer than a week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Throughout the 26 years of remodeling, I have had the opportunity to attend a multitude of workshops, seminars, and educational classes to gain the proper skills needed to be proficient and up to date with current standards and codes. We feel we are one of the best.
