- What types of customers have you worked with?
A common problem I encounter is wood rot. Roofs that are not maintained. Drainage installed incorrectly are common in letting water in. Once the water gets in, the rot begins! Which of course, invites bugs and other pests to continue the damage. At first sign , get the problem addressed and get it fixed. The longer you wait, the more the cost usually goes up later.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Just finished installing 900 sq. ft. of laminate flooring and kitchen cabinets in a customers house. I am really happy how it came out and the customer's life is changed because of it!
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
That some remodeling projects take time! Figuring out what a customer wants is a process. Generally it takes a good amount of time to plan out what is to go into the space. And get that vision right is crucial. Of course, as the work comences it often leads to changes the owner wants to make. They must understand this can lead to more time and money...
