FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend workshops on photography and software innovations for photography. I also teach new photographers the basics of photography. It is amazing what a student can "teach" a professional with a new or different idea or approach to photography.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in photography in 1983 taking courses from a vice president at Kodak. I spent my early years in photography shooting outdoor and family photography. I decided to open my studio and work as a full time photographer because I love what I do. I take great pride in the images I produce and in seeing how much my clients love them.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
If you plan to hire a photographer there are a few things that you should know about them. What kind of equipment do they use? Where is their studio? Do you like the images you see that have done in the past? Can they provide you with current references? What is your budget and expectation of your photographer? What turn around time do you expect to receive your images? Once you have answered these questions you can make a more informed decision about hiring a photographer. As with any profession, you tend to get what you pay for. If you hire a low cost provider your images will reflect that. Quality and service have a price to match.
