Introduction: I went to school at Bowling Green State University from 2014-2018 for interior design. Since graduating I have designed hotels around the world. Some of those being Hiltons, Best Westerns, and Boutique Hotels. I have done residential design for clients that are going through renovations, building a new home, or just wanting to add the finishes touches to make their space feel complete. I am passionate about what I do, which means I do everything I can to make your dream space come to life. To help you visual what your space can be I create mood boards, floor plans and 3D renderings.

Rachel has been a dream to work with. From the first day we meet, she knew exactly what we needed and were looking to get from her expertise. She took our ideas and used 3D rendering to bring her designs to life. It really helped us visualize the possibilities of our new kitchen. She constantly brought us samples, from paint colors, to fixtures, and because of her creative ideas, her final design provided a big cost saving. Rachel is easy to work with; flexible and is clearly passionate about what she does. We will definitely recommend her to friends and family and would love to work with her in the future on other areas in our home.

Rachel was professional and she did provide service. She was helpful in choosing key fixtures and providing layout ideas, and in particular with curating many furnishing options that I could select from for the layout. The body of work clearly indicated time and effort. However, I think having a virtual consult was challenging and time to get a true shared understanding was limited and felt unfinished. Rachel missed the inspiration photos I shared early on and the initial designs were off base. We struggled to recover fully. The design itself was ok. A key I concern I raised was about the paint color in east facing living room needing warmth. Ultimately the color options fell short and the colors I have feel cold. The curated items were helpful but ultimately didn’t find they inspired a personalized feel - items felt commercial, I guess. I returned much. I would not likely use a virtual consult again. Positive for effort on this engagement, but missed the mark m.

I charge a consulting fee that will be refunded at the end of the project if you choose to move forward with me to do your project. I offer a 10% discount to those who pay with cash.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, plus 3 years of working experience.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love to create spatial plans to make the functional and beautiful.
