The plumbing could not be completed until our subfloor and floor was re-installed in our bathroom. I contacted MrPrater Contracting. Mr. Prater responded within minutes. He came out the next morning and gave us quotes. It was a last minute request , but he was flexible and started in two days. He gives the option for the consumer to provide supplies or he will supply them and that is included in quote. I had called for the floor, but Mr. Prater was able to complete the whole project. Installed floor/subfloor. Reinstalled commode. Repaired drywall in basement. The pricing was very reasonable. Mr. Prater is very knowledgeable and respectful. We have a painting and flooring project we are definitely contacting MrPrater Contracting for."See more

Tony was actually a second opinion. The first opinion was to replace the coil in a costly repair. Tony took the time to diagnose the problem and found that the unit was working well and that we just needed to clean the Cottonwood out of the outdoor units. Apex was able to send someone out the same day which was nice especially since it was Friday and I didn’t have to wait the entire weekend to have someone look at my HVAC unit. There was a $69 service fee which is not stated on their page so that’s why 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, the tech was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. It took him about 15 or so minutes to find that there was a crack in the heat exchanger. The tech recommended a replacement since the furnace is 20+ years old.

From the first consultation to follow up after installation, Steve and Builders Heating & Cooling are very professional and straightforward. I requested the project be permitted, and Steve went out of his way to talk with a city inspector to put the best plan in place. There was no up-selling. I chose to get top of the line (and probably more powerful than my house requires) and I couldn't be happier. As others have said, the tech is the installer, consultant and owner. Very knowledgeable and easy to work with. If you're looking for quality work and an honest HVAC company, Builders is highly recommended.

Holloway HVAC saved us! Our AC unit died on the 4th of July in the middle of a 90 degree heatwave. Tony came on the 5th (the day we contacted him) and gave us a quote that was HALF of the other company we looked at - and he was able to install the new units THE NEXT DAY. (The other guy said he might be able to get in 5 days later, or it could be weeks)! we have a 5mo old so we needed relief ASAP. He answered my million questions via text messages and gave us advice on the upgrades we were considering. He was punctual, professional and reasonably priced. 100% recommend!

He claimed the HVAC unit was leaking freon. However, he claimed to have refilled it with 3 pounds of R 22 @ $150 per pound. This did not resolve my issue, and he will not come back and not give me a receipt . Unfortunately, this was a crazy day . And the guest staying at my short-term rental were out of air it was a Sunday after. This was the only tech who was available he insisted on only zelle for payment. I had no choice. Now the unit still has the same issue, and I had to get another person to fix barely 2 weeks after him.he has stopped answering my calls and text. Definitely a CON artist!
