I am a general contractor who has the ability to complete every task given. Whether it be pressure washing, painting, building custom built in shelving/seating areas, light plumbing/electrical. There is not much that can’t be accomplished. I have been in and around the trades for the last 20 years. If I ever have a question about something I am not sure of I have contacts that will walk me through completing a job. My passion and first love in this industry is building furniture, I look forward to hearing from you.

Grant was professional and thorough. He was able to work around the landscape contractors to install the new patio door AND we contracted him while on site to repair the siding after the deck was demolished. Will definitely have this company saved in my phone for more repairs and updates.

Grant was fantastic. He was able to squeeze me into his schedule while I was in town, and then worked with me as I had a last-minute engagement that took me away from home. The storm door that Grant installed looks great, and I’d happily hire him again in the future.

I contacted Hockman Design Studio to add steps and railing to a deck that I had built last month. After taking a thorough review of the deck build Grant advised that the deck needed to be rebuilt as there were several issues with that build. Grant, had to take the deck apart. Grant and team reinforced the deck foundation as there was barely any support. The team also corrected the spacing of the lumber of the deck, built steps, a railing, added deck boards and decorative rocks around the deck. So Grant Hockman came in and saved the day. I now have a rebuilt, reinforced and stable deck. Grant was punctual, very responsive to messagea and a pleasure to work with. I would definitely hire Hockman design studio again!

My basement stairs were treacherous! See before and after images.... Grant was the only contractor that committed to completing this project in one day. I couldn't afford to lose access to my basement longer than that, and he arrived on site with ample crew to do just that. I liked that he worked there ght along with them as well. I believe the price was fair for a complete replacement, and the finished result is rock solid. Not to mention, I've never had a railing on the basement stairs and now I do which makes them even more safe for everyone who ventures down. And the best part... Just a few acres and. I can remove the rail framing to allow moving large item in and out with ease. The basement area where the work took place was left clean which is also important to me. I highly recommend Hockman Design Studio construction for your next project.
