They were friendly and accommodating and fit us in quickly, but everything was slightly crooked. Not a huge deal, but the seal around the plug outside was coming apart. We contacted them and asked if they would come fix it. We were told there was no problem and they'd be out later that week. That never happened so I followed up with the owner a little while later. They informed me that the employee who initially helped us had left the company and that's why they didn't know to come follow up. They stated that they would then come out and take care of it. A few weeks again pass by with no response so I reached out one more time and was ghosted. They were friendly up front and were happy to add on an extra task, but the moment we paid, that was the last we heard from them.
Update: This review allowed Kris to get a hold of me. He said he had attempted to reach out to me but couldn't remember my name and our message chain had disappeared due to updates. He apologized profusely and explained the whole situation resulting from the aforementioned employee doing a poor job for a bunch of people and then starting his own Thumbtack company. He set up a time to come out the following day and repaired everything Zach had done. He straightened out all of the installations and replaced some of the lines to make them neater and more out of the way. He was a good sport about everything and stressed that he just wanted to do a good job for the customer and took full responsibility for the disconnect. I really appreciate him taking the time out of already too-busy schedule to come take care of our admittedly minor issues. I am more than happy to admit that my initial experience was not the norm for this company and they will come make things right.
