Midwest Mosaic did a beautiful job on my bathroom. Wes was on time, he cleaned up very nicely. What I liked best was the quality of his work. My bathroom was done with attention to detail and is beautiful. I’m very pleased.Feb 22, 2018VerifiedMalcolm C.'s reply
Thank you Mrs. S. It was a pleasure to help you. Thanks also for referring us to your brother.
Malcolm the owner is very trustworthy and a man of his word. He did a commercial floor for me and we hit a few bumps, but everything was made right.Mar 25, 2018VerifiedMalcolm C.'s reply
I called Midwest Mosaic and I received a great price for the installation of the tile. They came in and covered the floors and counter top. The cutting and placement of the tile were professionally done. They cleaned up after the job was accomplished. MIDWEST MOSAIC KNOWS TILING.Dec 27, 2016VerifiedMalcolm C.'s reply

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I try to keep it simple. Most consumers are middle class, and their needs are surprisingly of the same scale. For instance most back splashes do not exceed 30 square feet. Most are simple and uncomplicated. I charge $950 for a standard back splash, you buy the tile. Same goes for a typical 6'x8' bathroom, these are the overall dimensions for so many of our bathrooms. You want a custom shower with a niche or bench (choose one) and you want the floor tiled? $3900, you buy the tile. I charge $7.50/sf for floors on concrete. $10.00/sf on walls. You buy the tile. Again these are for simple uncomplicated installs. You want to order off the menu? No problem I will walk you through the adjustments.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Need to see your site and give you a professional consultation. Will qualify you to see if you are a good fit for my schedule and the type of services I offer. I don't pursue all contacts. There is just not enough time. Furnish you a quote with a scope of work and clarifications about what is included and what is not included. Furnish you with references if you request them. Deposit required to get on the production schedule. Will give you a week on which we expect to start. Will tighten up the start day as the install week approaches.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Yes. I stay connected to my fellow Tile Geeks on Facebook. Its the social evolution of the John Bridge Forums, the #1 tile bulletin board in the world. While the knowledge base over there is second to none, its still moderated, and available to the public, when I need feedback or info I get it right now from my fellow Geeks. Also there is the Schluter seminars. And the Coverings show.
