Renting Ohio at ReMax Connection
About this pro
Just started working with him, so far things have been good.Apr 27, 2018Verified
I hired Joshua to find a tenant for my condo and manage every aspect of the process. It is the only rental unit I own. I know that I am a small account but he and his team have given me excellent service nonetheless. I plan to continue using Renting Ohio when I acquire new rental units.Jan 26, 2016Verified
Joshua and his 'team' took almost two months to produce zero leads. I found the renter myself from 500 miles away. I ended the relationship after 7-8 months of property management as the organization is lacking.Jan 2, 2016VerifiedJoshua H.'s reply
Jim, thank you for your feedback. There are a couple items that need to be noted. This property should never been accepted into our portfolio and it was a mutually disappointing relationship. All fees charged by Renting Ohio were refunded at the parting. Jim did not permit needed repairs. Some examples include the following. The hot tub was broken. The basement had mold for which he told us to just spray and paint it rather than taking out the damaged drywall and properly repairing it. Carpet was dirty and in need of stretching, also not permitted to clean. When Jim moved out, trash and many items were left behind, again that we were not permitted to attend to. Through this experience, we learned and improved. Going forward, all new clients agree to a minimum standard for condition in both the interior and exterior at their rental.
This is still a work in progress... no decision has been made yet.Oct 3, 2014Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Fortunately our pricing plan is simple!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I finish a book every 7-10 days and usually rotate these four categories. Real Estate, Business Development, Self Development, and Science Fiction. Aside from that I'm tapped into several landlord associations, take continuing education classes at Hondros College, and far surpass the minimum Realtor requirements.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I love to travel and I am an entrepreneur. After several successful small businesses (vending routes, a bar, a cleaning company, and more) I settled into real estate. It provides duplication of time, protection of capital, and consistent growing income. There are many other benefits, but both owning real estate and managing other's portfolio are highly satisfying and provide the type of lifestyle I desire for my family.
