FAQs
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask about their experience. How long have they been opening safes? This business relies heavily on "hands on" experience. If they tell you they have to destroy your safe to open it, run the other way. We use the latest technology to diagnose the problem and help us decide the best way to proceed. Ask them if they are members of the Safe & Vault Technicians Association or the Associated Locksmiths of American. These associations provide training for safe technicians. Ask for an estimate in advance. You will usually get a range of prices unless the tech can put his hands on the safe. He should be able to give you an opening price after looking at it. Do not contract somebody on an hourly basis.
