FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Certain jobs go off a square footage equation, most go off experience. I tend to hear what others quote either during bidding or afterwards. It can help for the customer to be somewhat open about what they are thinking pricewise or what other quotes they have received. If nothing else you will get a sense of each other better and will eliminate extreme and unrealistic high and low quotes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Very few projects are "easy" but at the same time most are not rocket science either. A good rapport and open communication are, therefore, helpful with kicking off projects. Explanantions of products and procedures often help as well.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Self tought but am a college graduate. Most importantly, I like what I do.
