I care about people. I care about the memories of who we were, the truth of who we are and the excitement of who we are becoming. I look at each photo session as an adventure. Photography is a very creative process and I strive to think outside of the box so that my clients get a variety of photos to choose from. I really enjoy everything about photography. I'm a people person and an artist so this kind of work really isn't work at all. It's fun!

Alexis was amazing to work with - her expertise in her field and added comfort, ease, & compassion with our newborn made our entire experience with her amazing- we loved the session and the results - all the photographs were beautiful and she is just the loveliest person to work with. Additionally, she worked with us on very short notice and was extremely affordable. We will definitely be using her services again in the future!

Alexis was incredible! My spouse and I were looking for a photographer for our wedding. Everyone we contacted were WAY to over priced and just wouldn't give us what we wanted. We found Alexis through Thumbtack! She was quick to respond to the needs we put out. Excellent price for the amount of work she puts in and the product/service we received! She asked questions to get to know what our needs and wants were. She also openly answered any questions we had. LOVE the fact that she dedicated her personal time to be at our rehearsal so she could get a feel for the atmosphere. She is courteous and very professional. And the proverbial icing on the cake, her work is incredibly beautiful and we got ALL of our pictures back quickly! We will most definitely be hiring her for all of our future events!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know my clients so that i can get familiar with what they are looking for and what is important to them. It is my goal to make my clients happy.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I took a photography class in high school. I got my first Canon as a young mother and started photographing my own children. My friends and family started asking me to do their photos and that is how Alexis Hallum Photography began. I
What types of customers have you worked with?
Brides, Grooms, Mothers to be, Fathers, newborns, children, family units and even pets!
