- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For engagement sessions, bridal and boudoir; I charge $150 for a 1 hour session. This includes set up/posing of different shots, online viewing album of all downloadable images with print rights to print/post anywhere. Or $250 for a session with 3 outfits. once a session is reserved, I require $50 of the session fee up front as a deposit. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR PHOTOSHOOT WITH LESS THEN 48 HOURS NOTICE, THE $50 DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. Once your deposit is paid, you lock in your session price as well as session date and time. once a session is reserved, I require $50 of the session fee up front as a deposit. IF YOU CANCEL YOUR PHOTOSHOOT WITH LESS THEN 48 HOURS NOTICE, THE $50 DEPOSIT IS NON-REFUNDABLE. IF WEATHER is the reason your photoshoot has to be canceled- we will reschedule your shoot for the next date that is available and fits your schedule. You will not have to re-pay your deposit. Weddings: Weddings start at $999 but I will email you full price menu of options. I capture all of your important moments like; Bridal getting ready shots, groom/groomsmen shots, bridal parties (Bride's and groom's separate and together), Ceremony; down the isle shots, vows, rings, prayers, family posed shots, bride and groom couple alone, etc. Reception; arrival into reception, toasts, first dances, cake cutting, bouquet/garter toss, bride and groom depart, also includes photos of guests at each table, candids of moments/dancing, any sentimental moments you may want re-I acted/recaptured. Formal portraits of bride and grooms parents together all dressed up, etc.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Photographers go through a lot of training, a lot of experience and spend a lot of money on equipment (cameras, lenses, computers, editing software, and hours of time after your shoot to edit the pictures they have taken from earlier that day. A lot of people don't realize the work and time that photographers do behind the scenes after you go home from your session. A photograph of a special moment is priceless. you will never look that way again. "Right now is the youngest you will ever be, for the rest of your life" CAPTURE IT! :)
