Project: Support for Swing Egg Chairs She responded to my message within a day. She set up a time to look at my project. She quoted me a price, and I accepted without acquiring other bids. Brandon, another contractor she works with, installed the supports the same day. I asked questions. He provided pictures of his work in my attic, explained what he did, and what materials he used. Overall, it was a good experience for me. I would work with both of them again.

Purchase the required permits. Hire competent subcontractors. Plumbing work was sub-par. They replaced my water lines and did not secure them.

This customer also submitted a dispute, which Thumbtack has settled in my favor. There is also such a thing as a bad customer, and I wish there were a way to address this in the online review arena. Our company is NOT perfect, but we strive to do the right thing. This customer changed the scope of the job, and spoke very degradingly to me as a FEMALE. It was evident that "other" substances were present, which clouded this customer's memory regarding discussions regarding the job scope. We did approximately $5000 of extra work to try to rectify the situation, and it got to the point that it was clear that MR. L. was trying to get as much as he could and keep adding things to the job scope. We did get proper permits. Mr. L. lied about several things regarding this job, and I have various contractor statements to verify. We not only secured our water lines, but a previous "Sub-par contactors as well.
