Introduction: My images showcase Life. I capture and document the precious moments of childhood and the relationships between families and parents and their children. My style is a mixture of lifestyle documentary and slightly posed portraiture. My choice of subject comes from my love for my own family and my children. Childhood is filled with fleeting moments that every parent wants to remember and the connection between families is amazing. I love working with families and children and creating images that they can love for a lifetime. I love capturing memories. A photograph is something you can cherish forever.

Emily has a shining personality that shows in her portraits. She photographed my daughter at 3 years old and I still get compliments on the photographs from friends and family four years later. I loved all of the pictures Emily took of my little girl. I was a bit nervous because my darling is energetic but Emily knew just what to do. She is amazing with children. It was a fantastic experience. I will defiantly use her again the next time we need pictures!

Emily was amazing to work with! She was friendly and helped organize people in such a respectful way. Emily and I worked closely by email since I could not meet in person due to my schedule and location, however leading up to the wedding she was patient, understanding and helpful. The day of the wedding she knew exactly what I wanted and she gave me that and so much more. I could not have asked for a better photographer than Emily!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes always education is very important to me. I am working on getting my bachelors degree in photography. I am also a member of American Society of Media Photographers and I am always reading up on the latest trends and technology with photography.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I discovered my love for photography when I was in high school and took a photography class for fun.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask lots of questions about how the photo session will go. If you have an idea share it. My goal is to create something you will love and that will be unique to you and your family. Also make sure you love the photographers style.
