My favorite part of my job is simple. In every session, regardless of what the subject is, there comes a time when I take a photo that opens a new door. Sometimes it isn't the most flattering. Sometimes, it surprises you and contains more natural radiance and happiness than you thought possible simply in an image. This photo, is the first photo you take of that person that embodies who they are. It's the first photo taken where they forgot the camera was there. It's that photo that takes down the imaginary wall, and gives you the smile that their family knows. That smirk their love knows. Those friendly eyes their best friends know. Simply, I love when I notice that photo. For every person it is different, and knowing I am able to create a comfortable environment for someone to open up like that makes me happy. And I hope it makes my client happy, too.
