Finally, a solar company that doesnt feel like a used car lot.Shopped around with 5 different solar companies and Affordable Solar was the only one that didnt feel like a high pressure sales pitch. Eric came out, looked at our roof and electric usage, and gave us an honest assessment.No financing tricks, no limited time offers, no pushy sales tactics. Just straight talk about what solar could do for us and what it would cost. Installation was professional and they cleaned up everything.Systems been running great for 3 months. Our solar system started acting up right before a long weekend. Not ideal timing. Called Affordable Solar expecting to leave a voicemail and get a callback Tuesday.Eric himself called back in 20 minutes and had someone at our house the next morning. Problem was a blown fuse in the disconnect box, simple fix but we never would have figured it out ourselves.Technician was professional, explained everything, and even showed us what to look for in the future. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on the actual scope of work, not a one size fits all package.
We look at your roof, electrical panel, energy usage, battery needs, utility requirements, and long term goals before giving a final number.
Most residential solar projects in Oklahoma fall around $2.70 to $3.00 per watt installed, depending on the system size and equipment. We also provide clear pricing for batteries, panel upgrades, EV chargers, and solar ready electrical work.
We do not believe in hidden fees or pressure tactics. You get a clear quote, a clear scope, and honest recommendations before any work begins.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a simple conversation about your home, your electric bill, your roof, and what you want the system to do.
Then we review your utility usage, check your roof with satellite imagery, and look at your electrical panel to see what is possible.
From there, we build a custom design based on your home, not a cookie cutter template.
Once approved, we handle the permits, utility paperwork, installation, inspection, and final activation.
The actual install usually takes 2 to 3 weeks. The full process is usually 4 to 12 weeks because of permitting and utility approval.

Affordable Solar is a full service solar EPC and electrical contractor.
That means we handle the engineering, equipment sourcing, installation, and support behind the project.
Our team includes licensed Oklahoma electricians, experienced solar installers, and roofing professionals backed by Affordable Construction Co., an Oklahoma builder with roots going back to 1977.
Our electrical work is overseen by Oklahoma Journeyman Electricians always on the job site. Our team also works with major solar and battery brands like Tesla, Ecoflow, FranklinWH, Enphase, APsystems, IronRidge, SPAN, and EG4.
