FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All quotes are based on an initial consultation, e-filing a standard federal and state tax return with direct deposit if applicable. There may be additional fees If your tax return requires extra forms such as a Schedule C, D, E or Earned Income Credit. We will always quote you a final price before starting on your tax return.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a basic questionnaire with each new customer to get a sense of what their needs are and how we can exceed their expectations. We are always looking forward, so that we can minimize any tax liabilities if possible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We require each of our tax preparers to register with the IRS and complete the IRS Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP). This insures us that the tax preparer stays up to date on the current tax law. Additionally, we also require them to be working towards their Enrolled Agent Status with the IRS, which basically designates them as a tax expert!
